I totally love this, just love it. Now I just need to scrabble up 25 matchboxes by tomorrow…anyone? Link to idea.

You can make your own matcboxes here if you’re desperate!

My grocery store has match boxes like this in the section where you can buy duraflame logs and charcoal. Good luck! Cute idea.
Oh, I like the way the boxes are arranged, very nice!
When I made mine a few years ago, I just bought boxes of matches from the grocery store–it was something like 10 for a dollar and I emptied the matches into a plastic bag (which are probably still in a cupboard somewhere, that was a lot of matches!)
I love this! It’s so compact, great for a small house that’s already got all horizontal surfaces buried. Thanks!
I can get big packs of matchboxes (with matches) at my grocery store.
You could buy a batch, empty the matches into a canning jar, cut a circle of sandpaper to glue onto the flat part of the lid, pretty up the jar with ribbon/paper/paint and gift it with a nice candle.
Instead of buying the boxes, I’d grab some cardstock and make up a bunch of these boxes. They might work the same way, I think, and no matches to deal with after!
sweet,sweet,sweet!!!
Oh I LOVE this, cute cute cute +++
You can buy big lots of matchboxes from the supermarket and they are really cheap. I bought a heap last year for kids craft and just emptied the matches from them into a bigger box (we are STILL trying to use up all the matches though every time we light the barbecue LOL).
