valentines projects

Sarah has been busy with various fun valentine garlands. Including cellophane heart perfect to make with kids and this cut out heart pictured below. This project involved stiffening fabric and then using a heart paper-punch to make a negative heart space on the garland.

Oh – thanks so much for the links to my cellophane heart and stiffened fabric garland projects!

I have to say that the picture you used is of the garland I copied that was made by Cori Kindred. Hers are made from paper and just beautiful. She has an Etsy shop (CoriKindred) where one can be bought! Please do come check mine out, though, too as it was made from stiffened fabric and has a permanent place above my mantel.
