It is looong overdue for an update on the 65 roses quilt. Thank you all so very very much for your wonderful quilt blocks that you have sent in. Such amazing variety and talent – I am loving these blocks. Please keep them coming in as I am thinking I will make more when I get enough for a second one. In the mean time this particular quilt will be auctioned at the cystic fibrosis Australia annual charity auction.

Here are just some of the wonderful squares coming in – I will post more next week and the week after. And will also be offering a free pattern so you can make this quilt with your local community group.

Good luck with the auction. If they’re all as lovely as these pictures then the whole quilt will be awesome. I missed the deadline with one thing and another, so I am glad to hear there’ll be another one… I’m definitely getting in on the act for that one! Looking forward to seeing a pic of the finished quilt – you are so dedicated, I am humbled! x

I thought the deadline had passed and was quite disappointed not to contribute. Guess I’ll add it back into my to-do pile :)

This quilt looks fantastic! As a mom of a CF kid – I wanted to thank you for doing this! We are getting so close to a cure and it’s great to have people like you to champion the cause and elevate awareness.
