This past week (and a half – sorry for the lateness of this newsletter) I have been madly editing my first draft for my first deadline of my next book. It doesn’t have to be perfect as it will go through plenty more edits yet – but I do want my editors to get a good first impression. The quilting machine is packed away again for now – I don’t have a permanent spot for it – it would be nice to have it set up somewhere – a studio – that’s what I need – with a big 8-foot high design wall – oh a girl can dream can’t she?
I have also spent some time this week exploring and downloading e-books – and checking out the modern quilter guild, I also had a chuckle over the mason dixon promo video. Betsy Greer wrote in asking for idea for DIY trash for a project she is working on … and we looked at the community in conversation … And its the year of the Tiger – happy new year all …
- Knitting … I have been exploring ravelry more and more and every time I go there i get lost in a maze good stuff … Portsmouth skating hat … fenced in hat … hand-spun mitts … baby professor vest … knit patchwork blankie … cordova slouch hat … all the math socks …

- Made my heart sing … … blanket: Bring-it-on baby blanket … ruby hexagon blanket … pajaki – polish straw chandelier …
