That is THE most precious thing I have ever seen.

Do they make them in my size?

I could never get the hang of swaddling my children. This would have been perfect and is so much cuter.

I would love to make this, but I can’t find a 40″ size 13 circular needle. so sad!

Mimi- I’m not sure why you would have to have a 40 in needle- I think that was for doing Magic Loop- You could make this on a smaller cable length needle and switch to dpns for the decrease- I love this and am going to make a couple of them- easier than a blanket!

This has got to be the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. ALMOST makes me want to have another baby.

Thanks, Mary, I think you’re right about the magic loop. I did find a 40″ needle, and that seems to make the most sense. I’m going to try the cocoon…looks like a long hat!

Could you explain how we could do this to crochet?

I love this idea as a shower gift. I was able to make this with 16″ size 13 circular needles. The finished size is 16″ around anyway and having a shorter circular needle set is a lot easier to work with. Love your photo too!
