I created a last-minute pop-up valentine, available for download here. While [whipup] readers are crafty, some may still be looking for a valentine to give away, and some might even venture out to pick from the decimated selections in stores. This valentine is the perfect solution–it saves them from the stores, and lets them bust out their glue and exacto knives. Of course there are no strings attached to using the pattern, but I am requesting that folks donate the money they save on valentines to Partners in Health’s relief efforts in Haiti.

ooah so cute – the littlies will love these – make some teeny tiny heart babies this valentines. Thanks Rachel: These simple valentine babies are made with odds and ends from the craft room and natural materials. An acorn cap, some felt, fabric, and a matchbox. Simple sweet Valentines.

se7en (+1) has a whole slew of kids bags that she and her kids have been making – I love them – from jeans bags to handwasher bags to chair bags – lots of really fun and clever ideas.

Trish sent in this stylish valentines themed table cloth: The fabrics are from French General [+ others] and perfect for Valentines Day. I’m a Mom and it’s meant to be a “cheat” on quilting – getting the look without all the work.

Thank you Grace for the sock owl tutorial – I love it: This is a simple tutorial for when anyone just fancy making something at the spur of the moment. It doesn’t require much material, just leftover or old socks will do. It’s also easy as a project for kids (old enough to handle a needle), a creative way to distract them when mommy needs some time to relax.

I almost squee’d out loud when I saw this. LOVE IT Denyse. Ripper. Link to pattern.

thank you maggie for sending in this lovely valentines wreath. It looks so romantic and pretty and it also doesn’t take much time to make :) This would also be wonderful for weddings by changing the ribbon color!
