Jamie sent in this link to make this spring fling garland: I create items using 99% recycled materials. I love finding new ways of using what you have, or turning something someone else has discarded into a beautiful new creation!

heart hangings

Katharine from woollywotnots sent in this link to her heart hangings – made from cardboard and wool scraps, she says: You can make them in a variety of colours to match your home decor or make them stripey and multi-coloured. They are great to make with friends and children. They are very simple and look great. You can use them for Valentine’s, special occasions or have them hanging around your home all year round.

These are the cutest – I loved the clear instructions and various fabrics shown – this project would be great for gifts, party bags, or just because! Link to origami fabric pocket tutorial from Alison.

This simple knit dolls vest - steiner style – is so simple that the kids will be knitting vests for all their dolls and teddies.

Jenny wrote this about this tutorial: The tutorial is initially aimed at people with very limited knitting experience and is the first in a weekly series I am undertaking to help my blog readers, many of whom have bought dolls from me, to feel confident to design and make their own doll clothes. I am going to build each week on the previous lesson so that we can knit and sew a whole wardrobe of doll clothes. I look forward to more in the series.
