Thanks Jessy for sending in this budgeting clutch tutorial - Jessy says: I’ve been trying to organize our household finances for a year and my husband and I have finally found a way that works. We divide the money into categories put them in labeled envelopes so we can track how much we spend each month in each category. After a year of carrying around scruffy envelopes I decided to make something cute and useful and hence the Budgeting Clutch (Money Organizer Clutch). It is very simple – a crochet clutch with tabbed dividers to file money and receipts.

We’ve been using the cash method for a while and am tired of my ugly system. Cute alternative. Thanks.

Hi, I have been also carrying around bent, grubby, plain white envelopes in my purse to sort out our household spending. I’ve done it one week and have tossed the envelopes out -they are so ugly.
I really think you are onto something with your cute organizer.

Something to make horrible budgeting bright and fun – genius! I’m alos envious of your very neat crochet stitches – I’m still learning. Jen x
