Thanks Jessy for sending in this budgeting clutch tutorial - Jessy says: I’ve been trying to organize our household finances for a year and my husband and I have finally found a way that works. We divide the money into categories put them in labeled envelopes so we can track how much we spend each month in each category. After a year of carrying around scruffy envelopes I decided to make something cute and useful and hence the Budgeting Clutch (Money Organizer Clutch). It is very simple – a crochet clutch with tabbed dividers to file money and receipts.

Felting – The Complete Guide By Jane Davis, Krause Publications; Spi edition (March 6, 2009)

Crochet the Complete Guide By Jane Davis, Krause Publications; Spi edition (May 27, 2009)

These two books by Jane Davis (and I believe there is a knitting book in this series too), are spiral bound small books that very accessible for the beginner and slightly more advanced crafter. The projects are lovely and simple, the techniques clear and concise, lots of great pics and diagrams. These small on-the-go books would make the perfect gift for crafty friends.
