The dresden plate block is a very old design – but still remains quite modern – and as you can by these examples – extremely versatile – use up scraps or coordinate your colours – it all works…

One of my prized possessions is a Dresden Plate quilt my grandmother gave me for a wedding present! What neat interpretations!
