Tula Pink, fabric designer extraordinaire, donated 36 charm packs of her latest fabric collection – Plume to her quilt guild, the Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild. She challenged the members to Project Plume. The rules were to use one charm pack and a half yard of fabric to create a quilt top (the rest was open). Here are some of the results.

This weeks newsletter is huge. In response to a reader pointing out how quilt focused I have been these past few weeks, I went into overdrive to remedy the situation – this past week you will find a lot of paper and fashion related posts – enjoy. Also this week I have been working on a few freelance articles that will appear in a big Aussie weekly mag soon – very excited about that. And writing for my second book is nearing the deadline – so need to read it again and again this weekend – my head is spinning – the words are becoming a jumble on the page. Again my darling husband has done all the hand-drawn illustrations – and I have has some amazing help from talented Aussie women – thank you gals.
