We were on blog hiatus at Whipup headquarters this past week – a couple of days went by when more computer time was the last thing we wanted. But happy to say tucked up today inside on a rainy day its all ok again. Crocheting has been happening – socks are once again on the hook and another hat is complete. I started a small tester stripy afghan but it ended up as a very happy scarf instead for my little boy – but that’s ok because it looks so lovely around his little neck and he is really quite chuffed.

I have been deeply immersed in some web browsing this past week here’s what I have been reading: This knitting nostalgia post by Mimi was really quite a lovely read … Alicia is on the other end of the knitting timeline and busy making lots of lovely baby things – this blue sweater is adorable … crochet hexagons have me entranced – these by bearpaw – and these by Rosa - oh my that grey – am making these today (here’s how) … some crochet afghan blanket goodness from attic24 – that stripey blankie is coming along so beautifully and I am also in love with this one from dottie angel … still talking about crochet – sarah london is having fun with it – crochet lamp covers and tissue box covers anyone …
