we have an ipad and love it – if you have one and want to make a case to protect it from everyday grime - here is a neat tute.

[The ipad] is such a new thing. I have looked about trying to find an iPad case that isn’t too slick or like a notebook. I just wanted a nice case with some personality. I think the case I designed is good because it looks masculine on the outside but has a flash of the crafter inside with its neon lining. My boyfriend wouldn’t have something too crafty in his bag, but this passed the ‘boy test’!
fold some Japanese paper dolls - traditional Japanese bookmark doll (shiori ningyo) with or without kimono sleeves. … The dolls are perfect for cardmaking, framing… or simply admiring!

What a great idea and I love this progress shot. Link to tutorial, photo below is from the author’s flickr (thanks Martha!).

this looks like a fun way to while away an afternoon - a paper sphere decoration made of recycled papers, and its colour scheme can be colour coordinated to fit into any room. Big chinese lantern like lights are so hot right now and this craft is a modest, free take of it that can add an element of surprise in any room.

what a sweet project – these knitted anklet bells – pattern here.
