Still obsessed with all things tea to celebrate our ‘Sew & Tea‘ themed Action Pack. Check out my baking adventures – and make some cakes – try the cinnamon tea cake or this lovely madeira cake. You might want to knit yourself a tea cosy or make a play teapot (really everyone should have one!) or try making some tea ice cream.
This past week I am knee deep in outdoorsy stuff for kids – for my next Action Pack - super excited about this one – it’s a bumper issue to last 2 months. Jam packed with so many fun kiddo projects. Also we are soon to be launching a proper home for Action Pack – yes its very own website – busy testing out all the stuff that goes along with designing a new website.
I have just decided that my new favourite tea is Darjeeling – slightly nutty flavour – I might have overdone the Earl Grey somewhat! (oh and just realised that my local tea shop has a website where you can purchase tea online - but if you are in Canberra you should go and have a lovely tea experience – love this place). And yes this newsletter is a little later than usual. Tuesday rather than Friday – its my new time for posting the newsletter – the beginning of the week instead of the end … enjoy!
Purchase the third issue of our Action Pack: Mini-mag for kids who want to do stuff! ‘Sew & Tea’, it’s full of sewing and tea drinking projects. Find out more here or purchase yours right now for only US$5 {ps. you can post your finished projects in our Action Pack Flickr Project Gallery}
And Readymade shared a recipe from Action Pack issue 2 on their blog recently – go here for all the yumminess.
