For all my lovely readers in the throes of summer – about to finish school for the year and head to the beach … make sure you get the Great Outdoors Summer issue of the Action Pack before you head off on holidays.

Action Pack: A MEGA e-mag for kids who want to do stuff is available in an easy downloadable PDF format, priced at only $6, and with no advertising.

You’ll need to make this excellent utility belt before heading off and fill it with all the essential for an adventurous kiddo (even though older kids can make this by themselves, younger ones will need some help – but this would make a fabulous gift for you to make for them too).

Lots of lovely summer outdoorsy camping type projects if you heading to the beach – make a fishing rod, catch some fish in a fish trap, paint yourself with some natural body paint, collect some beach jewels and make some simple jewellery …

If you are staying closer to home and have a whole summer ahead of you – you can practice your knot tying, go on adventures, make a weather station, and cook outdoors…

Action Pack: A MEGA e-mag for kids who want to do stuff is available in an easy downloadable PDF format, priced at only $6, and with no advertising.

Issue 4 (June + July 2011) of Action Pack: A MEGA-Mag for kids (aged 7+) just keeps getting bigger and better. The Great Outdoors edition is 60 pages (that’s double the size of the regular Action Packs) full of colourful activities, recipes, games and tutorials for outdoor fun.

How did I miss this one?! We are off on a few camping trips these summer holidays. Must purchase this. We LOVE your other mags. I notice in the latest edition that the next one in feb will be a mad scientist theme. We are having a mad scientist theme birthday party for an 8 year old in the last week of Jan….. maybe I should postpone it until early Feb, just so that we can give them out as party favours! Any chance of an early release??
