I love the colour wheel and understanding how colour works is a big step in understanding how to create visual art that says what you want it to say. There is a history of the colour wheel located online here and wikipedia has a good run down too, and for quilters Maria Peagler’s color mastery might be for you – you can download a pdf here to create your own color wheel – so if you want to know more these are good places to start.
