Pop knits is a new online knitting mag, their inaugral issue up with some really excellent patterns – such as the la-la love you cowl and a very sweet footlights cardigan. As well as an interesting article about re-writing vintage patterns. And that is what popknits is all about – revamping and revisiting vintage patterns. Popknits is a one woman magazine machine, run solely by Stephanie J Pajonas.
MetaPostModernKnitting.com is a celebration of fashion-forward and avant-garde knitting. Their second issue Fall/Winter 2008/2009 is now online. MPMK was started by a group of knitters who work at the library of a (fashion) design school. Submit designs by going here first. As well as patterns they have a whole trend forecasting section.
