Upcycle contest: CRAFT blog CONTEST: one lucky person will win a Singer “Curvy” sewing machine—plus their project will be featured in a Singer ad appearing in CRAFT: 10. The three runners-up will get a Singer rolling sewing machine case and a 1-year subscription to CRAFT! All entrants have to do is snap some pix of party decorations that they have made from “upcycled” materials (or things that they already have in the house) to the Flickr group called ‘The Upcyclist Party Contest’. Magazine submissions

Do you want to have your work featured in the inaugural issue of Art Quilt Studio – a new quarterly magazine which will hit newsstands June 1, 2009? Stampington challenge all art quilt enthusiasts to create an art quilt inspired by the excerpt above from the famous book The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
