to wash or not to wash?
Your fabric stash that is.
I’m a fence sitter. Depends what I’m doing with the fabric as to whether or not I prewash it. Some people are organised enough to wash their fabric as soon as they bring it home, others of us *cough* don’t. My personal ethos is if it’s a small item that won’t need to be washed then I don’t wash, however, garment, quilt and bags I would definitely wash. Get on over to Trueup and read Kim’s post on this topic. Link.

fabric stash. how do you store it?
How do you look after your fabric stash? Do you fold it? Throw it in a pile and wade through it? Wash it as soon as it arrives at your home? Never wash it? Just use it? Meticulously catalogue it?
Kim over at Trueup has had some great posts about stash. Here’s a link to her stash catagory, link. Via Trueup I found this great technique for folding fabric using quilter’s rulers. Link. I used it this weekend and it works a treat!
